WWE star Cody Rhodes has revealed what he misses most about his time working as an EVP for AEW.
Rhodes was one of the founding members of AEW, serving as an EVP of the promotion alongside Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson.
This is why it was so shocking to see Rhodes leave AEW in February 2022, and return to WWE that April.
Speaking on WWE After The Bell, Rhodes noted that the thing he misses the most about ‘his time away’ is having his own office in every arena.
Noting that even then, he didn’t get a lot of work done, Rhodes said:
“If I missed anything from my time away, and that was such a fun time, gosh it was such a fun time. I think the only thing I missed and I have said this before is that I had an office in every building.
“I had an office, and in that office was some of the most fun. No business was being done. Maybe 5% business and it was probably Brandi doing the business. The other 95% was me and my buddies.”
Rhodes recently predicted that a rising WWE star will become a major player on the main roster.
Big E has now stated that he believes this same star is a future world champion.
A top AEW star was spotted training at Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory ahead of All In London at Wembley Stadium, which you can read more about right here.
