Current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has named his Mount Rushmore of top names in the history of the company.
In pretty much any wrestling interview nowadays, the talent being interviewed is asked to name their Mount Rushmore – the four names they believe stand at the top of a given category.
In a new interview with ALL THE SMOKE, Cody Rhodes was asked to name his WWE Mount Rushmore, noting that he considered the importance of what people contribute after their in-ring career is over, not just what they did while they were active.
Rhodes first pointed out that he only learned recently that there are four heads on Mount Rushmore, not five, making his answer a bit more difficult.
For his Mount Rushmore, he named his father Dusty Rhodes, who mentored so many of WWE’s top current stars when they were in developmental.
He also named The Rock, who Rhodes of course had a major storyline with last year, current WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, and the soon to retire John Cena.
During tonight’s WWE Raw, the first four entrants in the 16-man tournament to determine Cena’s final opponent were confirmed – click here for more.
