Cody Rhodes Next WWE Feud Update After Drew McIntyre

Cody Rhodes Next WWE Feud Update After Drew McIntyre WWE

An update has emerged on the next feud for Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes after his matches with Drew McIntyre.

Rhodes retained his title McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event last weekend, although it wasn’t without controversy, as Rhodes DDT’d McIntyre onto the title belt while the referee was down on his way to victory.

Six days later, Rhodes opened WWE SmackDown tonight and declared that he’s finished with McIntyre now. He said:

“Drew McIntyre is one of the most impressive, strongest, but also the most in his own way self-sabotaging wrestler in the history of the business.

“Unfortunately at this point Drew, I am moving on.”

Rhodes then said he was going to sit in the crowd throughout the show tonight to help scout who could be his next challenger.

However, he was interrupted by Aleister Black and Zelina, with Black saying he has a chip on his shoulder the size of the Undisputed WWE Championship.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then came out and made a match official for tonight’s main event – Rhodes vs Black.

When that match took place, it was interrupted by Drew McIntyre who come out and attacked the referee, who was the same referee that was in the SNME match.

When Black and McIntyre started double-teaming Rhodes, Damian Priest came out to make the save. After that, Nick Aldis came out and announced that McIntyre was suspended.
