Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has proposed an ‘olive branch’ to Drew McIntyre following his title victory.

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes captured the WWE Championship for the third time, regaining the title from Drew McIntyre.

Drew and Cody have been at odds since August, and with their rivalry now finally over, Cody has proposed an olive branch to McIntyre,

Speaking on Graps the Podcast, Cody noted that he still had Drew’s sideplates on his title, with Cody noting that he’s going to give the sideplates personally back to Drew.

He said:

“I actually think I’m gonna give them to him personally. Because you fight with somebody on screen, behind the scenes, you’re consistently in competition with your peers all the time.

“After a while of butting heads, I think you end up kind of liking each other. I don’t know if we’re there yet but that might be my olive branch.

“Because for other guys these things go missing and then you’re like ‘hey I’d like that 30 years from now, or my kids would like that’.”
