Cody Rhodes Pitches New Name For Current Era Of WWE WWE

Current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has pitched a new name for the current era of WWE.

WWE is currently in a boom period with the company selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide, while garnering multi-billion dollar TV rights deals.

With the company as a hot ticket, Cody Rhodes has become the face of WWE as the current Undisputed WWE Champion and top babyface of the promotion.

Since WrestleMania 40, WWE commentary has consistently called the current era of the company, “The Triple H Era.”

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Cody Rhodes stated that the current era of WWE should be called “The Record Era.” He said:

“We’re in this period of time where, you know, there was the Attitude Era, there was the Ruthless Aggression Era, and now we don’t even know what to call this era of WWE.

“I feel like we should call it the Record Era because we’re just breaking records left and right.

“The new management team – Triple H, Nick Khan, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – they’ve made it so easy for me where I’ve been dubbed The Quarterback because they just call the plays, I run the play, and hopefully we all look good.”

This Saturday, November 30, WWE will present Survivor Series 2024 from Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
