Cody Rhodes Comments On Reaction To Him Not Being Added To WWE 2K22

With the recent update to WWE 2K22 still hot on fans’ minds, when will we get to play as the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes?!

Never fear Cody fans, there could be something very exciting still ahead, despite the previously reported decision that he would not be able to appear as DLC in 2K22, despite WWE having asked.

Cody Rhodes has responded to a Twitter suggestion that he be the cover star for WWE 2k23, writing:

“I don’t know the talented folks at @WWEgames – but I’m a pretty decent gambler and I would bet they’re working very hard on something special for pro wrestling fans”

One game that is unlikely to include Cody is the forthcoming All Elite Wrestling game, reportedly titled AEW: Fight Forever.

WWE games have scored recent success with the overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and fans alike on their most recently released title, WWE 2k22 which featured heavily in the leadup to WrestleMania 38 as a co-sponsor of the event.

Cody Rhodes is on a WWE hot streak, currently 2-0 against Seth Rollins who he is set to face again at next weekend’s Hell in a Cell, literally in a Hell in a Cell match in a continuation of a feud that Rhodes had hoped was extinguished after his victory over Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash.
