What Happened In Cody Rhodes’ Massive Pre-WrestleMania Match Against Solo Sikoa WWE

In the main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Raw (March 27) two undefeated stars went at it mere days before WrestleMania 39.

In the last Monday Night Raw before WrestleMania 39, there was an explosive main event between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.

After Paul Heyman told Cody Rhodes earlier in the night via backstage interview that Solo didn’t need to win tonight, his role was just to soften Rhodes up in advance of WrestleMania 39.

With a thunderous Samoan Drop still ringing, Sikoa asked Cody, “Who’s not ready Cody? Who’s not ready?”

The Enforcer continued to work over the upcoming WrestleMania challenger as he hit numerous big moves on Rhodes throughout the match.

However with Cody showing off his own powerful displays of strength, the pair were evenly matched throughout.

After Rhodes hit a second Cutter on Sikoa, the Usos entrance theme hit and then Solo Sikoa took the upper hand off the distraction however it was shortlived as the Usos had company.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens ran out to brawl with the Usos back up the entrance ramp as Cody was able to hit a Cross Rhodes and defeat Solo Sikoa.

This is Sikoa’s first loss since having his in-ring debut on the main roster in September 2022.

Elsewhere on tonight’s last WWE Raw before WrestleMania 39, it was confirmed that the a Hell in a Cell battle between Edge would feature a special opponent.

There would have been a WrestleMania 39 weigh-in between Omos and Brock Lesnar however things really went awry and Becky Lynch and Bayley kicked off the night with a fiery promo ahead of Lynch’s epic match against IYO SKY.
