Cody Rhodes is on the verge of potentially ascending to the WWE mountain-top at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood, yet rather surprisingly he has had to do so without his wife Brandi Rhodes by his side on WWE TV.
The lack of Brandi on WWE TV is surprising largely due to how prominent she was during Cody’s six-year-absence from the company, accompanying him during his time in New Japan, ROH and most notably AEW.
Now, Cody has addressed his wife’s on-screen status on the Out of Character podcast.
In the interview Cody conveys the importance of Brandi throughout his career yet wouldn’t reveal if/when we could expect to see her on WWE programming.
Concerning a Brandi WWE return, Cody said: “Never say never in the wrestling business” however, he wouldn’t go into detail, saying:
“I wouldn’t rule it out, but she absolutely loves watching what I’m doing.
“She’s got some stuff that she’s working on secretly, unrelated.”
Brandi has appeared with Cody in some video packages and WWE digital posts, but has yet to accompany him live.
