Cody Rhodes Thinks Rocky III Is ‘The Best’

Do you know who not only has seen Rocky III but even made the claim that it was “the best” of the franchise?

Rocky III fan, Cody Rhodes.

A week before the current Rocky-centric fracas from CM Punk regarding the time before his exit from AEW, Cody Rhodes made an interesting and bold claim.

In an interview with Out of Character with Ryan Satin earlier this month, Cody Rhodes noted that during his time away from the ring he utilized several methods of remaining mentally engaged and motivated.

While namely leaning on the strength and toughness of his wife Brandi Rhodes was cited, Cody also noted that he enjoyed some light entertainment as well.

Cody Rhodes saying:

“From an entertainment standpoint, I went back to an oldie to a goody with all the Rocky, my favorite being Rocky 3.

“Rocky 3 is the best because he loses and then he has to get his cardio going and it’s a whole beautiful mess.”

While Cody Rhodes may be undeniable, he probably wasn’t throwing shade from the distant past since the interview has been out for well over a week before a debate regarding Rocky III even kicked off. 

Cody Rhodes is set for a massive opportunity at WrestleMania 39 when he challenges the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania Sunday.

WrestleMania 39 is happening over two nights, Saturday April 1 and Sunday April 2, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
