VIDEO: Top WWE Star Opens Up About WrestleMania 39 ‘Injustice’ WWE

He may be almost a month removed from WrestleMania 39 and his controversial main event loss to Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, but Cody Rhodes is not keen to let it go anytime soon.

Despite being moved swiftly on to a post-Mania program with Brock Lesnar Rhodes still has his sights set on Reigns and righting the wrong that was his heartbreaking loss.

Speaking ahead of night one of the WWE Draft in a post-match promo at a live event in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Rhodes would make his intentions clear:

“What happened to me at #WrestleMania in Hollywood, is an injustice that I 100% intend on avenging.”

“It doesn’t matter what brand I’m on.”

Unfortunately for Rhodes he would in fact be separated from Reigns in the draft with the ‘American Nightmare’ remaining on Raw while the ‘Tribal Chief’ stayed on Smackdown along with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman.

While Rhodes will technically be able to ‘finish his story’ with the introduction of the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Raw, many fans have called upon WWE not to have Rhodes win the new title and instead continue to pursue Reigns.

While that may be difficult if WWE plans on actually enforcing a hard draft split, perhaps by next year’s WrestleMania it may become a possibility.

Reigns vs Rhodes has been rumored to be ‘on the table’ to potentially main event WrestleMania 40 in Philidelphia, click here to find out more.
