WWE Star Says Cody Rhodes AEW Rematch Has To Happen

NXT Champion Ricky Saints has named several WWE stars he wants to face, noting that a certain AEW rematch has to happen.

Ricky Saints has been very successful in the almost-nine months he has been with WWE, currently holding the NXT Championship following a reign with the NXT North American Title.

Speaking with The Five Count, Saints named several main roster stars he’d be interested in facing in the future.

Hopeful that a rematch against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will eventually happen, he said:

“Seth Rollins is one name. Obviously a rematch against Cody (Rhodes) has to happen, for sure. Dominik Mysterio is another one, Carmelo Hayes, those types of people.

Saints notably challenged for Cody Rhodes TNT Championship on the June 11, 202o edition of AEW Dynamite.

Explaining why he doesn’t have a long list of dream opponents, Saints explained:

“I don’t really have a long list. There are people that I’m intrigued by in terms of wrestling, but I never do a list just because I don’t want to get mad if it never happens, I don’t want to hold myself to this list.”
