Cody Rhodes has reached a milestone as the current WWE Champion, having held the title since SummerSlam earlier this year.
With his victory over John Cena at SummerSlam back in August, Rhodes is now a two-time Undisputed WWE Champion.
His previous reign saw Cody Rhodes hold the Undisputed WWE Championship for 378 days, with his current run now reaching 100 days.
Last in action on the November 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, Rhodes retained the title when his match against Aleister Black saw interference from Drew McIntyre, leading to the Scottish star’s suspension.
Rhodes will be in action at WWE Survivor Series WarGames, teaming with CM Punk, Jey Uso and two as-yet-unnamed stars in the titular men’s match.
The November 29 WWE Premium Live Event will see them go against The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed), Logan Paul and two other names.
All this after last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw CM Punk attacked by Paul, who was joined by Breakker and Reed, with Jey Uso and then Rhodes rushing to the ring to even the odds.
While there will no doubt be many contenders for Cody Rhodes, NXT Champion Ricky Saints has shared his hope that an AEW rematch between the pair has to happen.
