WWE Name Reacts To Cody Rhodes Championship Win WWE

A SmackDown name has reacted to the Undisputed WWE Championship match which took place on this week’s episode, and saw the title change hands.

After interfering to ensure Cody Rhodes’ eliminations from the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches ahead of WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre was ordered to defend the WWE Championship against Rhodes on the March 6 SmackDown episode.

The American Nightmare was ultimately victorious, defeating McIntyre to win the WWE Championship for the third time in his career.

Following the match, Mark Nash – who was the ring announcer ahead of the bout – took to Twitter to note that he was honored to have been involved.

Praising the match, Nash wrote:

WWE has also shared a video of Mark Nash’s reaction to the three-count, and Nash announcing Cody Rhodes as the winner and new Undisputed WWE Champion.

Cody Rhodes’ victory saw Drew McIntyre’s reign with the gold end after 55 days, with McIntyre having won the gold from Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match on the January 9 SmackDown episode.
