Fun Homage In Cody Rhodes WWE Entrance Music Revealed WWE

A theory about a fitting homage in WWE star Cody Rhodes’ ‘Kingdom’ entrance music has now been confirmed.

After Rhodes left WWE in 2016, he started to enter arenas to Kingdom by Downstait, a song made specifically for him.

He brought the music to WWE upon his return in April 2022, and the Downstait track has since grown significantly in popularity.

It’s now commonplace for WWE fans to participate when the song reaches a certain part, with Rhodes screaming ‘woahhhh’ with full arenas during his ring-walks.

On Twitter, Downstait revealed that this part of the song was an intentional homage to Rhodes’ previous entrance music Smoke & Mirrors.

Noting that they’ve always been Cody Rhodes fans, Downstait confirmed a fan’s theory, tweeting:

Yes, we like to think we know what we’re doing.

Seriously though, we’ve been fans since the beginning, so we had to throw that in there.

Seems like it worked out.

Rhodes is currently preparing to face Brock Lesnar at the upcoming Backlash premium live event, which will emanate from Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot on May 6.
