A WWE Hall of Famer has addressed the possibility of Cody Rhodes turning heel during his current feud.

Since winning back the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes has found himself at odds with Drew McIntyre.

After attacking McIntyre at his home last weekend, Rhodes cut a passionate promo on the December 19 SmackDown episode, stating that he is the law, to General Manager Nick Aldis.

Speaking on Busted Open, Mark Henry speculated that we’re about to see Cody Rhodes fully embrace the dark side.

Reacting to Rhodes’ SmackDown appearance, Henry said:

“In that promo that he cut to Nick Aldis, he was prideful, sounded very heelish. That’s not what the hero does. Maybe it’s the fact that Drew McIntyre is bringing this side of Cody out.

“The way that he’s pushing Cody’s buttons, we might lose Cody to the dark side. (McIntyre) is not just trying to win the title, he’s trying to break Cody.

“I’ve never seen the good guy dip to the lowest lows like Cody is doing right now.”
