Cody Rhodes Hits Huge WWE Career Milestone

WWE star Cody Rhodes hit a huge career milestone at a recent live event, following his WrestleMania 39 main event.

Cody Rhodes’ most recent televised match saw him unsuccessfully challenge for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship in the final match of WrestleMania 39 Sunday.

This bout was Rhodes’ 1499th match ever in WWE.

The American Nightmare has now wrestled his 1500th bout in a WWE ring, with the contest taking place at Saturday’s (April 15) WWE live event in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

After initially stating that he wasn’t cleared to wrestle at the event, Rhodes decided to step into the ring after an attack from Imperium.

In the main event of the show, Rhodes teamed with Matt Riddle and Kevin Owens to defeat GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The Miz

– Austin Theory defeated Bobby Lashley – United States Championship

– Cody Rhodes, Matt Riddle & Kevin Owens defeated Imperium
