Cody Rhodes WWE PLE Return Update

Cody Rhodes WWE PLE Return Update WWE

An update has emerged on Cody Rhodes’ WWE return, amid the American Nightmare’s absence following WrestleMania 41.

Rhodes hasn’t appeared on TV since losing the WWE Championship to John Cena during the main event of WrestleMania 41 night two.

With a report recently indicating that there had been a pitch for Rhodes to return for Backlash, rumors have been swirling about the former champion’s comeback now that the May 10 Premium Live Event is in the books.

Per WrestleVotes during a Sportskeeda Q&A, Cody Rhodes is expected to be in Los Angeles for Money in the Bank on June 7.

Believing that these plans haven’t changed, WrestleVotes said:

“I do believe he’s still scheduled to be a part of the Money in the Bank show.

“As far as I know, he will be in Los Angeles for that PLE.”

Rhodes is also featured on the Money in the Bank poster which is being used on WWE.com, which you can view below.

While WWE hasn’t officially announced his return, Rhodes has been featured in advertising for the May 16 SmackDown episode.

Ahead of Money in the Bank, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on May 24, with WWE Champion John Cena slated to be on this show.

John Cena’s next WWE appearance after Money in the Bank has been revealed, which you can read more about right here.
