Here’s what happened with Cody Rhodes after this week’s (April 3) edition of WWE Raw, following Brock Lesnar’s attack.
Early on in the episode, Cody Rhodes challenged Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns to a tag-team match, before it was revealed that Brock Lesnar would be his tag partner.
The tag-team match ultimately didn’t happen, with Lesnar dropping Rhodes with an F5 during his ring introduction.
Instead of watching the four men compete in the main event, fans had to watch Lesnar decimate Cody Rhodes in an extended beatdown.
WWE has now shared a video revealing what happened after the cameras stopped rolling.
A number of officials and medical personnel attempted to stretcher Rhodes out of the arena, but Rhodes refused the help.
The WrestleMania 39 main-eventer then struggled to make his way to the back, momentarily collapsing on the stage, before exiting the arena.
This all comes after Rhodes title bout on WrestleMania 39 Sunday, which saw him unsuccessfully challenge for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Title.
Following a Samoan Spike from Solo Sikoa after the referee was distracted by Paul Heyman, Reigns hit Rhodes with a spear to retain his gold in a controversial finish, which many have criticised online.
