Cody Rhodes Explains Why WWE Stars Do So Well In Hollywood WWE

Following SummerSlam 2024, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has explained why WWE stars do so well in Hollywood.

Cody Rhodes has been riding high on top of WWE since winning the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

In the past, Rhodes has also seen what it is like for wrestlers outside of the business making the transition to Hollywood, having starred in the Arrow series during his first run with WWE.

Other wrestlers have made successful transitions fully after their in-ring careers like John Cena, Batista and The Rock.

Speaking to Gabby LaSpisa on Gabby AF, Cody Rhodes explained why he believes wrestlers do so well in Hollywood. He said:

“Wrestling makes you change. It hardens you at one point. It can make you bitter, it can make you angry, but then there is another light at the end of the tunnel once you get through it.”

“That’s why wrestlers do so well in Hollywood. The politics on a Hollywood level are laughable compared to what you’re dealing with in wrestling. ‘Oh, this guy shows up on time.”

“Oh, he had a comment about the writing but it wasn’t a major what to do.’ I feel like we adjust quicker because the business can be so mean to you. You either get out or you adjust,”

Rhodes is set to have a role in the upcoming “Naked Gun” reboot, which you can read more about here.

Cody last wrestled in a win over Solo Sikoa in a Bloodline Rules Match to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2024.
