Here’s who has been behind the Cody Rhodes video packages that have been airing on WWE TV ahead of the star’s return to action.
Rhodes last wrestled in June 2022, defeating Seth Rollins in the main event of the Hell in a Cell premium live event.
The former AEW EVP notably wrestled this match with a completely torn pectoral muscle, and was written off TV the next night on Raw to have surgery.
WWE has recently been airing video packages focusing on the popular star’s injury and recovery.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Jeremy Borash has been in charge of producing the Cody Rhodes video packages.
Fightful Select (subscription required) recently confirmed that Rhodes has returned to training, and has been preparing for his in-ring return at the WWE Performance Center.
The former AEW EVP reportedly hand picked NXT stars Carmelo Hayes and Joe Gacy to work alongside him.
It has been heavily speculated that Rhodes will return in the Royal Rumble match on January 28, with some predicting that he’ll win the bout.
Rhodes isn’t the only star preparing for a return from injury, with Rick Boogs sharing training videos, after nine months away from the ring.
