Cody Rhodes Comments On WWE WrestleMania 42 Main Event WWE

With a change of direction following last week’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes has addressed his WWE WrestleMania 42 main event record.

The March 6 episode of SmackDown saw Cody Rhodes become a three-time WWE Champion with a victory over Drew McIntyre, setting the American Nightmare on a course to WrestleMania 42 next month.

With Randy Orton having declared that he will main event this year’s WrestleMania for only the third time in his twenty past appearances, his men’s Elimination Chamber match will now see him face Cody Rhodes at the April 18 & 19 Premium Live Event.

Rhodes has now also addressed his intentions for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, with Sportskeeda Wrestling noting it will be the fourth year in a row that he has been in at least one of the main events at the key PLE, tweeting:

“Records can be broken(even your own)

With two of Rhodes’ past WrestleMania main events being against Roman Reigns, The OTC heads to this year’s events to face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Reigns’ upcoming match will break a record of his own, with The OTC set to main event his eleventh WrestleMania.
