WWE Hall Of Famer Discusses Recent Talk With Colt Cabana About CM Punk

A WWE Hall of Famer has discussed recent talk with Colt Cabana about CM Punk drama.

Since AEW All Out 2022, CM Punk has been at the center of many headlines thanks to his scathing comments on Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Colt Cabana at the media scrum.

Following his comments, Punk was involved in a backstage brawl with The Elite that led to him being stripped of the AEW World Title and suspended.

On the November 2 edition of AEW Dynamite, Colt Cabana made his return to the company for the first time since 2021 to challenge Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship.

On the latest episode of “To Be The Man” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recalled a recent conversation with Cabana.

Flair said:

“Colt Cabana walked up to me the other day. Colt Cabana came over and wanted my autograph and I didn’t know who he was.”

“I’ve never met him, right, and the guy goes, This is Colt Cabana.’ Then I stood up and shook his hand. I said, ‘What’s going on with you and Punk?’ He said, ‘It’s a long story.’ So, Punk’s got more long stories with people than I do. [Cabana] a nice kid … really good worker.”

As previously reported, another wrestling legend revealed what Colt Cabana said about CM Punk backstage in a new podcast.

It is still unknown if or when CM Punk will return to All Elite Wrestling, but the former two-time AEW World Champion is currently out with a tricep injury.
