Commander Azeez Debuts New Look At NXT House Show WWE

Former WWE main roster star Commander Azeez debuted a new look during Saturday’s (July 23) NXT live event in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Following Apollo Crews’ return to NXT in June, it was reported that Crews and Azeez had been internally moved to the NXT roster.

Azeez returned to action during this weekend’s house show, teaming with Cora Jade to face off against Ivy Nile & Sanga.

Photos of the star sporting a new all-black aesthetic have been circulating on social media:

Azeez’ last TV match aired on the May 26 edition of WWE Main Event. His former tag partner Apollo Crews has wrestled a handful of matches since returning to the developmental brand, most recently losing to Giovanni Vinci on the July 12 edition of NXT 2.0
