Confirmation On AEW’s TV Deal Following Introduction Of Collision AEW

AEW is set to officially launch it’s Collision show on June 17, which will be the third piece AEW programming to air on Warner Bros Discovery.

Ahead of the announcement of AEW Collision at the Warner Bros Upfronts, rumours had emerged that the company had reached a new TV rights deal with WBD.

No new deal for AEW had been announced at the Upfronts, and we now have some clarification on their TV deal.

In an update from today’s AEW Double or Nothing media call, Tony Khan was asked by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics about the deal, and how the inclusion of Collision could affect it.

Khan confirmed that the length of the company’s deal with WBD remains the same, and that Collision has been added to the company’s current deal with WBD, which expires in either 2023 or 2024.

Khan did not mention whether or not the addition of Collision to the deal means more payment for the company, which had previously been reported by Fightful.
