Former WWE star John Morrison made his debut as Johnny Elite as the Joker in the men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament last month, losing in the quater-finals to Samoa Joe.
Johnny Elite made another appearance on last night’s (June 1) episode of AEW Dynamite in a losing effort to the returning Miro.
Despite making two appearances in quick succession, Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that Johnny Elite is not signed full-time to the company.
Tony Khan spoke about Johnny Elite’s appearance in the Owen Hart Cup, noting that he would be interested in bringing him in for more matches.
Elite is now 1-2 in his short AEW career. For a full list of all win/loss records for the AEW men’s division for 2022 so far, click here.
