Following up on reports suggesting SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch had been pulled from this Sunday’s Survivor Series card, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has now confirmed that is the case.
“Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey is off Sunday’s PPV.”
Bryan Alvarez has also tweeted:
Becky vs. Ronda is officially off.

The injury suffered by Lynch on last night’s Raw seems to be the contributing factor, with a video now doing the rounds on Twitter showing it was a blow from Nia Jax that did the damage and left Becky bloody for the remainder of the segment, and with a concussion and possible broken nose.

It is not yet known how WWE plans to workaround this unfortunate situation, though tonight’s SmackDown Live will likely shed some light.
