Conor McGregor Teases WWE Debut After Cody Rhodes Comments WWE/UFC

Former UFC Champion Conor McGregor has teased a potential WWE debut following recent comments made by Cody Rhodes.

During a recent interview with The Schmo, the Undisputed WWE Champion discussed McGregor stepping into the squared circle.

Asked about the athlete he’d like to see in a WWE ring, Rhodes would name McGregor, saying:

“One I’d love to see dip his toes into the water with WWE would be Conor (McGregor). Just to dip his toes.

“The competition environment at WWE, the competition is different than what you might think. It’s so much about who has the most dscipline, who is the most professional, getting there to the finish line, getting there to a WrestleMania.

“I feel like someone who has competed at the highest level like he has and so many amazing fights, it’s time to maybe dip into the more entertainment side of sports entertainment. I think he’d be great at it, I do.”

McGregor’s name has been tied to WWE on a number of occasions, with the UFC star previously saying “you never know“.

The first fighter to hold two UFC championships in different weight categories has seemingly reacted to Rhodes’ comments in a tweet.
