Controversial WWE Feud Allegedly Pulled From A&E Biography Series

Coverage of a controversial WWE WrestleMania rivalry was reportedly pulled from the A&E Biography documentary on Sunday night.

At WrestleMania 19, Triple H defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Booker T. As per writer and professor David Dennis Jr, the polarizing build was originally planned to be included in the A&E documentary.

On Twitter, Dennis Jr claimed that he was brought in to discuss the WrestleMania 19 match. In a now deleted tweet, Dennis Jr noted:

“So one of the main reasons I was brought in was to talk about WrestleMania 19. I went in about it for a LONG time. But my ass knew it wasn’t making the final cut so I figured I was gonna get cut out from the whole doc lmao”

Dennis Jr went on to explain that he doesn’t actually know the reason why his alleged segments didn’t air. Explaining that he thought it was unlikely that the content would make the final cut, Dennis Jr tweeted:

“I honestly don’t know why it didn’t make the final cut I just know I didn’t feel good about it having much of a chance lol”

During the build for the WrestleMania 19 match, Triple H infamously told Booker T that “somebody like you doesn’t get to be a World Champion.” Triple H went on to retain his title at The Show of Shows.

Booker T has recently reacted to Kenny Omega winning the IMPACT World Championship at Rebellion 2021. According to Booker T, IMPACT are getting nothing out of their partnership with AEW.
