Cora Jade Confirms Name Change, Addresses WWE Release WWE

NXT star Cora Jade was among the numerous WWE talents to have been released by the company today – Friday, May 2, 2025.

Jade first shared a selfie of herself hanging out with Bea Priestley (Blair Davenport) and Riley Osborne with the caption:

“Just got a lot of free time in our hands, see you soon 😂😂😂😂”

Priestley was released by WWE in February, and her husband Osborne was another of the releases today.

Jade then also tweeted:

Thankful for all the childhood dreams I got to live out! I have a lot to say in due time. Stay tuned xoxo

In another move on social media, she has changed her profile name to Elayna Black, which is the name she used before she signed with WWE, so it appears she’ll be using that again going forward.

During her time with WWE, Jade picked up one championship in the form of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title alongside Roxanne Perez.

Her last match came at a live event on April 25 against Sol Ruca.

Prior to that, her last on-screen match was at Stand & Deliver in the pre-show four-way tag match. Of the participants in that match, Jade is just one of three confirmed releases, as Jakara Jackson and Gigi Dolin were let go today as well.
