Oh Corey Graves, you got us! Okay fine, you didn’t, but it was a very good tweet and we’re all very impressed with your wit.
Over the past couple of week, there has been a lot of talk about what will happen to WWE’s commentary teams once SmackDown Live moves to Friday nights starting October 4.
The latest rumor is that Graves will be joining Michael Cole on SmackDown Live, while 205 Live’s Vic Joseph will be heading Raw’s commentary team.
There is also talk that the two-man commentary booth will be returning to WWE.
Due to all of this rumour and speculation, Corey Graves thought it would be fun to tweet:
Just to clear up all of the rumors I see swirling around about the commentary changes in @WWE–
I’m retiring.

Almost no-one fell for it, but that hasn’t stopped him from finishing the tweet earlier today.
…the jacket that I wore on #SDLive this week.
Forgot that part of the tweet. My bad.

As you know, we here at WrestleTalk understand what a nice jacket is, so we would like to ask everyone to observe a moment of silence to remember Corey’s jacket.
