Corey Graves WWE NXT Status Following Recent Unhappiness WWE

An update on Corey Graves’ status for tonight’s WWE NXT show following reports of ‘unhappiness’ with the role.

Last night, WWE announcer Corey Graves took to Twitter, sharing a tweet in regards to his unhappiness with his current role in the company.

He wrote:

Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty fucking awesome at it. And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.

Graves had been moved to NXT commentary alongside Vic Joseph and Booker T last week amid ongoing changes to the announce teams on Raw and SmackDown.

PWInsider reported following the tweet that there had been rumblings within the company for the last week that Graves wasn’t happy with being bumped off Raw and SmackDown for the NXT role, where he serves as the third member of the announce team.

Earlier today, Graves tweeted again, where he teased that he had a ‘lot to say’ ahead of the show, but there has now been an update on his status.

Per PWInsider, Graves will not be appearing on tonight’s episode of NXT, with Graves being spotted this afternoon at the Orlando Airport, going through TSA to leave the city.

We will provide any updates on Graves’ status as they become available.
