A potential replacement for Corey Graves on WWE SmackDown following his attack by Brock Lesnar has been revealed.
On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Brock Lesnar took out Corey Graves during the opening segment ahead of Lesnar’s match with John Cena at Wrestlepalooza.
The attack led to Graves being taken off commentary for the show, with The Miz then filling in on colour commentary for the rest of the show.
The prior week on the show, NXT’s Vic Joseph and Booker T subbed in for Graves and Cole due to Cole and Graves being in Las Vegas for the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide show.
Now, speaking on his Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker noted that he would be willing to step in ‘any time’ for Graves following the attack.
He said:
“Look here man, I wanna send my condolences out to Corey Graves, and hopefully he can get himself back at some point, but if they need somebody to step in, I’m just a phone call away. You know me, I’m always available when I’m available.
“My phone is always on, I’m like a doctor with a stethoscope. I’m ready to do this, I’m like the painter with the brush.”
