Could the Shield remain cohesive at WWE Super Show-Down?

For the last few weeks, the main narrative of WWE Raw has been the potential tension between the three members of the Shield, particularly focusing around Dean Ambrose, because, you know, he’s mental and that.

At Super Show-Down in Melbourne the group was put to the test by the self professed ‘Dogs of War’ – Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

Could the Shield remain in tact? You’re damn right, they could.

There was a particular moment in the match though, that seemed to be planting potential seeds. Roman Reigns attempted to land a Superman Punch on their opponents, but accidentally nailed teammate Ambrose, knocking him off the apron.

With Reigns and Rollins down, the ‘Dogs of War’ surrounded three of the four sides of the ring, reminiscent of the early days of their opponents. This is where it got tasty.

Ambrose also climbed up on the apron, meaning Reigns and Rollins were surrounded by the ‘Dogs of War’ and Ambrose. After a good 30 seconds of contemplation, Ambrose stormed into the ring, and went straight after Braun Strowman, pledging his allegiance to the ‘Hounds of Justice.’

It was also Ambrose who scored the pinfall victory for his team, after he nailed Dolph Ziggler with a Dirty Deeds.
