Real-Life Couple Form Alliance On WWE SmackDown

A WWE star formed an on-screen alliance with her husband on SmackDown during today’s main event.

The October 10 episode of SmackDown closed out with a Last Man Standing Match between Aleister Black and Damian Priest, with the bout being built as the culmination of their lengthy feud on the blue brand.

The match was an expectedly physical one, with Black hitting a Meteora and Sunset Flip Powerbomb onto the steel ring steps before Priest delivered back-to-back Razor’s Edge’s to Black on the SmackDown commentary table.

However, Black continued to rise to beat the 10 count of the referee, leading to the action spilling out into the crowd and onto the top of some equipment containers.

As Priest was getting ready to put Black away for good, Zelina Vega showed up to stand between Priest and her real-life husband Black.

After Vega eventually got out of the way, Black capitalised and threw a fireball into Priest’s face, before delivering a Black Mass, which sent Priest through a table down below and unable to answer the referees count of 10.

Black and Vega, who sported a sly smile, stood over the former World Heavyweight Champion as the show went off the air.
