Crazy Nixed WWE Saudi Arabia Match Revealed

Fightful Select has revealed that former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle was scheduled to wrestle in Saudi Arabia for WWE in a match that never ended up actually happening.

The site is reporting that Robbie “The Giant’ Araujo was even flown to Saudi Arabia for a match with Hornswoggle, but the match didn’t end up making it onto the card.

For those that don’t know, Robbie “The Giant” Araujo has appeared for WWE before as JB-Elf, most notably as a commentator for the WeeLC match in 2014 between Hornswoggle and El Torito.

At this time there is no word on which Saudi Arabia show WWE was planning on having this match take place, or why the bout never ended up making it on the card. For any potential updates, stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.

For what it’s worth, Fightful is also reporting that talent that they had spoken to had also heard that the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia wanted wrestlers who had long since passed away to appear on shows.
