AEW
What in the world do the Blackpool Combat Club have in store for tonight’s Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing 2023?
According to Claudio Castagnoli, not only are they looking to potentially outdo last year, they’re looking to outdo one another as well!
Speaking to Sporf, the current Ring of Honor World Champion Claudio Castagnoli said:
“I think all the viewers are going to get a similar experience this year because there’s some crazy ideas from my teammates already.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun and I’m really excited to be in the match.”
Claudio didn’t stop there, going on to elaborate that fans can expect not only a ‘similar’ experience but that the quest of the BCC was to make things even crazier, in the name of competing with one another.
Claudio said:
“In true BCC fashion, everybody’s trying to outdo each other.
“We have a few things up our sleeves and I think that’s what makes us as a group so effective, is that we all try to one-up each other in competition and we don’t really care about hurting each other’s feelings while doing it.”
Well that doesn’t sound like a terrifying prospect at all, some of professional wrestling’s most violent characters attempting to out violence one another.
Don’t say we weren’t warned, as promised by Jon Moxley on the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite, this match is unlikely to be for the squeemish!
The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Bryan Danielson) will be taking on the recently reunited team of The Elite featuring Hangman Adam Page (Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega rounding out the team).
Expect the unexpected when anarchy erupts in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada Sunday May 28 on pay-per-view for AEW Double or Nothing.
