Creative Pitches For WWE Star To Host WrestleMania 41

There were reportedly recent creative pitches for a WWE star to host WrestleMania 41 amid their current absence from the show.

The card for this weekend’s WrestleMania 41 event is all but finalised now, with a match for Randy Orton the only one likely left to be announced for the show.

There are a number of notable names not set to appear on the card for WrestleMania, among them being the Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green.

Chelsea is in the midst of a rivalry with Zelina Vega, with her and the Secret Hervice set to face Zelina Vega, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on next week’s WrestleMania SmackDown show.

In an update on Chelsea’s WrestleMania status from Fightful Select (subscription required), she was not scheduled for the show as of late last week.

Fightful was told that there had been a couple of pitches for her to serve as the host of the show, but there was nothing there as of this past weekend.

When Fightful asked sources near creative, they were told that once the show is formatted, it’s possible that a skit or segment could be added to the show, but that wasn’t yet the case the last two times they asked.
