Brutus and Julius, the Creed Brothers, finally won the NXT Tag Team Championship on tonight’s In Your House show.
The match ended with Kit Wilson of defending champions Pretty Deadly throwing one of the title belts into the ring, but it landed in Julius’ hand, rather than Wilson’s partner Elton Prince’s.
Instead of using it as a weapon, Julius looked at the belt, looked at his and Brutus’ dad in the crowd, and used it as motivation to land a beautiful Shooting Star Press, followed by the Unnecessary Clothesline, to pin Prince and win the title.
The Creeds’ win marked the second title change of the show, following Carmelo Hayes’ North American Title victory over Cameron Grimes earlier.
