Current Champion Confirms Signing AEW Contract AEW

A current champion has confirmed that she is currently under contract with AEW after making their debut in the company in 2020.

Watchers of AEW and ROH will have frequently seen Lady Frost compete across the two brands’ programming, with her most recent appearance coming during the Zero Hour pre-show of ROH Supercard of Honor on Friday, July 11.

Having made her initial debut for the company on an episode of AEW Dark back in November 2020, Frost’s exact contract status has been unclear despite being regularly featured on AEW/ROH programming since 2023.

While she’s not currently listed as a member of the AEW roster on the company’s website, Frost has confirmed that she is under AEW contract, and has actually been signed for two years now.

During a virtual signing for Captain’s Corner, Frost said:

“I started with AEW/Ring of Honor in 2022. Yep, I started in 2022, and then, signed somewhere in 2023. So I have some time left to go. But I love working there. I love all of my coworkers, Tony’s awesome.

“I wish I was on TV a little more. Everyone does. But, it’s a great job and I’m excited to see what the future brings, that’s for sure. For me especially but, for the company as well.”

As well as competing in AEW and ROH, Frost continues to compete on the independent scene and is currently enjoying her second reign as WrestlePro Women’s Champion, a title she has now held for over 300 days.
