At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, Green defeated Michin to become the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion.
Speaking to the Sports Agents, Chelsea Green discussed the efforts of Triple H to make her feel safe, supported and equal to the men in WWE. She said:
“I love my job. I feel safe, I feel supported. Triple H makes women specifically feel absolutely equal to men. Thats why I love to come to work. That’s why I feel so supported.”
Green last wrestled in a in over Michin to retain the WWE Women’s United States Championship on the January 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
