Current Champion Confirms They Left WWE Raw Prior To Wyatt Sicks Debut WWE

A current champion in WWE has confirmed that they left Raw prior to the debut of Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks.

The wrestling world is still abuzz from the epic debut of Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks to close out this week’s Raw show.

The group consisting of Howdy, Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis wreaked havoc on the backstage area, as well as Chad Gable.

Since the show, numerous WWE stars have confirmed that they were safe from the attack, including Bronson Reed, Braun Strowman, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, and another name has now confirmed he was safe from the attack.

Speaking to Sportsnet, Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn revealed that he left the show around five or ten minutes before the attack, and found out about it from fans on social media.

He said:

“Yeah, so, I actually didn’t even know that happened because I left the arena right after my thing was done. So, maybe five or ten minutes before all that stuff happened on Monday Night Raw, I had no idea and I left the arena and I didn’t look at the results of what happened or anything.

“Then, I get to my hotel and I tweet out the presale code for my comedy show and all of the replies from the fans are like, ‘Your co-workers have been killed, what are you doing tweeting out the comedy show?’”
