Current Plans For WWE Touring Schedule Return

Some news has emerged regarding WWE and its plans – or rather a lack thereof – to return to a touring schedule this year.

Following news that WWE is moving the ThunderDome location after WrestleMania, Sports Illustrated reports there are no plans for WWE to tour in the first half of 2021.

The current plan is to remain at the Yuengling Center while gauging whether it is prudent to return to a weekly live event model.

The ThunderDome has been at Tropicana Field the last few months, but WWE is having to move away as the Tampa Bay Rays’ baseball season starts in April.

As announced a few days ago, the ThunderDome will be at the Yuengling Center for the forseeable future.

WrestleMania 37 on April 10 and 11 will be held at Raymond James Stadium in front of 25,000 fans, but starting April 12, the ThunderDome will be at Yuengling Center and remain completely virtual with no fans attending in person.

WWE will be pre-taping the Raw and SmackDown before WrestleMania due to the ThunderDome moving.
