The current status of SummerSlam has been revealed amidst reports that WWE is concerned it may end up being cancelled.
Despite these concerns, WrestleVotes is reporting that, as of right now, the plan is still for the show to take place at Allegiant Stadium on August 21.
WWE has reportedly had talks with the venue and the city of Las Vegas and things are on track for it to still go ahead as planned.
The Allegiant Stadium wesbite and Ticketmaster both state that anyone attending SummerSlam must wear a mask.
Both WWE and AEW have reportedly been working on contingency plans in preparation for a potential ban on mass gatherings as COVID-19 cases rise in the US once again.
