Current WWE Backstage Stance On Crowds Returning

The UFC PPV on April 24 having an attendance of over 15,000 has led to more hope that crowds could return to WWE and pro-wrestling soon.

UFC 261 took place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville this past weekend, and there’s been a lot of praise for how it went down.

WrestleVotes, which has a great reputation when it comes to backstage WWE news, has taken to Twitter to report that the current belief among most backstage in WWE is that crowds could return at this point in time.

WrestleVotes tweeted:

A major topic last night backstage at RAW was the packed house over the weekend at the UFC PPV. While not many superstars are advocating for 100% capacity, nearly everyone feels as tho live crowds could return in some form at this time.

WWE did have over 25,000 fans in attendance for each night of WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium earlier this month.

With it being in Jacksonville, AEW talent was at the UFC show and many of them have praised how it was all handled too. It’s believed AEW could be heading on the road in just a few months.
