Details have emerged on the current plan for Logan Paul’s presentation in WWE moving forward.
After teasing a return to the ring, Logan Paul has now signed a multi-year contract with WWE.
Paul last wrestled at WrestleMania 38 in April, teaming with The Miz to defeat The Mysterios. After the bout, The Miz turned on Paul, reportedly because WWE had agreed to make Paul a babyface by the end of his previous run.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Paul is expected to remain a babyface for his upcoming program with The Miz:
“In his WrestleMania appearance, part of the negotiations was that he would have to end up a babyface at the end of WrestleMania. But the crowd still booed him, and even booed him when Raw was in Cleveland and he was talking about being local, going to Westlake High and doing all the things possible to get a face reaction Going against Miz, the plan again is for him to be a babyface once again.”
During Paul’s contract signing, the social media star made it clear that he wants to face The Miz at SummerSlam. The Miz previously announced that he’d be teaming with Paul again at the July 30 event.
Ahead of SummerSlam, WWE Money in the Bank will air this Saturday. Check out the updated card for this weekend’s premium live event right here.
