Update On WWE Hall Of Famer Potential In-Ring Return WWE

WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has provided a big update on a potential return to the ring, after speculation about a Dudley Boyz reunion.

Following D-Von’s WWE departure in January, rumors have been swirling about the possibility of the former producer reuniting with Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley).

Bully Ray addressed these rumors, noting that he doesn’t believe that D-Von will be stepping into a ring anytime soon, following his spinal fusion surgery in February 2022.

Speaking on WrestleBinge by Sportskeeda, D-Von revealed that he recently had more medical tests to determine whether he’d be able to make a wrestling return.

Indicating that he’s interested in making an in-ring comeback, D-Von said:

“Me and Bubba have talked about it. It’s not, you know, unheard of. You know, I did have major back surgery.

“So, I just took the X-rays today and that’s going to be sent to my doctor to see if everything is good and I actually take my MRI tomorrow to see if the fusions that took place, everything is still in tact.

“So, once I get the okay from that, within the next week or two, I will be able to determine whether I’m going to get back in the ring. It looks very good.”

Bully Ray has been wrestling as a singles star for the likes of NWA and IMPACT.

D-Von stated that he doesn’t expect to make a full singles return, regardless of what his test results say, noting:

“I think my time like that is over. To try and do matches and things like that as a singles competitor, I don’t think the body can hold up anymore.”

It appears that some progress has been made with D-Von’s back, as after his initial surgery in 2022, the Hall of Famer was told that he couldn’t wrestle anymore.

We will continue to provide updates on D-Von’s status as they become available.
