Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of the Damage CTRL stable have made history at today’s (November 5) WWE Crown Jewel premium live event.
Kai and SKY defeated Asuka and Alexa Bliss to recapture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, after losing the belts to the pair just days earlier on the October 31 edition of WWE Raw.
In recapturing the belts, Kai and SKY became the first women to win a championship while wrestling on a premium live event emanating from Saudi Arabia.

The match was an intense back and forth between the two teams, which ended with interference from Nikki Cross.
As Bliss went to the top rope to perform her Twisted Bliss move, Cross came out of nowhere to attack her from behind, proving an opening for Kai and SKY to secure the victory.
Kai and SKY were, unfortunately, the only members of Damage CTRL to secure new title belts at today’s show, as Bayley failed to get the win in her match with WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in a last woman standing match.
In a brutal match up, Belair sandwiched Bayley between the sides of a ladder and wedged her under the corner turnbuckle, preventing her from standing up and answering the ten count.
