Damian Priest WWE World Heavyweight Title Defence Announced For After Drew McIntyre Match WWE

Ahead of WWE Clash At The Castle, WWE has announced Damian Priest’s next World Heavyweight Championship defence.

At WWE King And Queen of the Ring, Triple H announced that Damian Priest will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre on Saturday, June 15 at WWE Clash At The Castle.

However, another title defence has been announced for an upcoming show later in the month of June.

On May 28, the Madison Square Garden Twitter account revealed that Damian Priest is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso on the June 28 WWE SmackDown TV taping from the Garden. The post reads:

JUST ANNOUNCED! From Monday Night RAW see Damian Priest vs. Jey Uso live in a World Heavyweight Championship Match at Friday Night SmackDown on Fri, Jun 28 at The Garden!

The card is subject to change, which means this doesn’t confirm that Priest will retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash At The Castle.

Priest previously defeated Jey Uso to retain the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash 2024 from Lyon, France.
