Damian Priest Details Paul Heyman Conversation Following Recent WWE Raw Promo

Damian Priest has detailed a conversation with Paul Heyman following his promo against GUNTHER on the November 11 edition of WWE Raw.

On this past Monday’s Raw in Grand Rapids, MI, Damian Priest faced off with his Survivor Series opponent – World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, with Priest looking to get under The Ring General’s skin following his loss to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.

Discussing the promo on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, Priest revealed something Paul Heyman said to him afterwards that he was “appreciative” for.

Priest recalled:

“I felt good, I felt comfortable. I was flowing. I just went in, and it just felt good. For instance, (Paul) Heyman was talking to me after, and he was like, ‘There’s no distinction between the character and the person. That’s you now.’

“That felt good. I was appreciative of his words. For me, it felt smooth, man. I think I finally know how to just be me.”
