Damian Priest Opens Up About Relationship With Vince McMahon

Current WWE United States Champion and Raw star Damian Priest has opened up about his relationship with Vince McMahon.

As far as recent NXT call-ups, when you compare him to the likes of Keith Lee and Karrion Kross so far, Priest has been used pretty steadily throughout his main roster run.

He’s now the US Champion, and according to Priest himself, Vince McMahon seems to be a fan.

Speaking with Fightful about his relationship with McMahon, Priest said:

“Positive to be honest. He knows what he wants for his show. He knows what he wants out of you. He’s been honest with me. He’ll tell me, ‘I need more of this, or I need more of that, or less of this’. But, it’s always positive and he’ll explain to me why. So it’s like, ‘Oh, I get it’.

“He has a way of speaking to people that if you don’t get it after he talks to you, you shouldn’t be here. So my interactions with him have been very positive. He seems like he likes me, so that’s a good thing.”

Damian Priest is set to defend the US Title against Sheamus at Extreme Rules, but before that, he defends in an open challenge against an unknown opponent on Raw tonight.
